The Princess V50/62 Sport "Open Space" is an elegant yacht with refined details and qualities that are evoked by its name. The cabins are divided into one double and one twin which can be convenient for those travelling with children. When you walk around the charming, little town of Amalfi it might be hard to imagine that it was once an independent republic with its own massive fleet of ships. On foot, you can cross the entire town in around twenty minutes. But this small town and its coastal region are packed with so much culture, history, food and fun and set all within the charming landscape of central Italy, that you’ll have a hard time leaving.

The Amalfi Coast. When you travel to Amalfi, you’re really traveling to the coast. The area is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is dotted with many small towns, villages, churches, and cathedrals, all ready to be explored and the best way to go from place to place is by your own charter boat. You’ll set the itinerary and discover the many gems that lay hidden here.

On the Beach, In the Mountains. There are over ten seaside towns for you to explore from Amalfi to the famed culinary capital of Ravello to Furore and so much more. If are ready to stretch your legs, then try climbing up to the towns of Scala and Lumonti. You can explore the San Lorenzo Cathedral which was built in the twelfth century or just create your own adventure as you wind the many paths through the hillsides and discover something totally new!

The Boat is the Way to Go. Most people get to Amalfi via Naples. Naples connects to many international flight destinations and Amalfi is only a short boat or ferry-ride away from the larger city. You can drive from Naples to Amalfi, but most people avoid it as the roads to the small town are narrow and confusing. With your own private boat, you can set your own schedule and explore the country the way people have for thousands of years.

Amalfi: A Well-Known Secret. High season in Amalfi is typically from May to September with the latter months being the best to swim. That said, as it located on the Mediterranean, the temperatures are pleasant year-round, and you can find some great deals on boats in the low season even though the weather is still quite warm.
