Although you may not be familiar with the name “Quintana Roo,” you may know one of its most popular destinations, Cancun. The Mexican state of Quintana Roo sits on the Yucatan Peninsula and is known for not only being the home of one of the nation’s top tourist destinations but so much more. You can explore the Mayan ruins in the Caribbean coastal town of Tulum or dive deep into the Nichupte Lagoon Nature Reserve. You can spend an entire month in just the state alone exploring its many sides and there’s no better way to do it than with your own private charter.

Dig Into the Mundo Maya. The Mundo Maya or “Mayan Worlds” is one of the most popular tourist sites in Mexico and it’s because it has truly everything. The famed Riviera is known worldwide for its unmatched landscapes and a huge variety of activities, but here you also truly feel the Mayan roots. You can explore the incredible ancient ruins and feel the culture that’s still alive today in amazing cities like Tulum. Going offshore, you can even dive down to explore some of the artifacts that remain under the sea.

Explore Isla Mujeres and So Much More. There’s no better way to enjoy Quintana Roo than by boat. It’s a really coastal area and there’s so much to discover. Heading out from the larger cities like Cancun, you can cruise over to Isla Mujeres, a stunning island not far from the mainland. There are even more great choices like the famed Holbox Island which is pristine and untouched along with even more enchanted places for you to discover.

Have Fun in Cancun, Cozumel, and the Yucatan. No matter what type of traveler you are, you have to at least spend a little time in the big spots like Cancun. It doesn’t matter whether you want to watch the spectacle of all the tourists or be a part of it, it’s truly an amazing place where people from all over the world gather to let off a little stress. As such the nightlife is incredible and varied from all kinds of different choices. Of course, once you have you fill you can head out to some of the quieter places along the Yucatan or into the forests.
