Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia is a popular Eastern Caribbean island destination. It's known for its volcanic beaches, beautiful mountains and its rainforest interior which includes waterfalls and a vast array of different wildlife species. One of the most fascinating things about Saint Lucia is that it actually switched hands between the British and the French 18 times over two hundred years before becoming its own nation in 1979. From the incredible natural beauty to its exciting towns and wonderful, it's not surprising why both sides were so eager to have Saint Lucia. Some of the amazing things you can discover there include:

Get a Feel for the Capital of the Island. Saint Lucia’s capital is the bustling cruise port of Castries. Whether you arrive here by plane or by boat, you’ll likely be passing through here. Castries is a fun little town where you can enjoy not only some great beaches but also the fantastic local markets which sell an incredible mixture of local tropical fruits and vegetables and locally made artisan crafts. From here, the island draws inspiration to create its delightful Creole cuisine which is equal parts spicy and savory and always incredibly fresh.

Enjoy the Boating Pleasures of Marigot Bay. What makes Saint Lucia such an excellent and boating destination is the many natural sights for you to explore. Marigot Bay is one the top places to check out where the crystal-clear waters of this tranquil bay are paired by the emerald hills that surround—it’s truly stunning and a great place for swimming and enjoying some of the charming bars and restaurants along the beach.

Discover the Unexpected in Saint Lucia. Aside from being a tropical paradise, there’s even more for you to enjoy here. You can head into the rain-forest and scale up to the 50-foot waterfall of Toraille and offers incredible views of the islands. You can also relax and get a natural spa treatment in the warm mud baths at Sulphur Springs Park in Soufriere. Saint Lucia may not be the biggest island in the Caribbean, but it’s the perfect one that has a little bit of everything you need for a great vacation. And the best way to enjoy it all is with your own boat charter so you can map out your great exploration of Saint Lucia. Be sure to reserve yours now!
