South Coast of Mykonos – Dragonisi island

Choose this itinerary and you will be able to see all the beaches of Mykonos from a totally different perspective: you will get to know the jet set venues and the nature’s rich heritage and eternal Cycladic beauty. Enjoy your privacy at secluded private beaches & bays, while do not miss the chance to feel the vibes of the always vivid Mykonian beaches. You will see a whole new angle of Mykonos, one that you would have never imagined existed. This particular itinerary is the most popular and the one requested the most by our guests.

Having as a starting point Platis Gialos Port, we cruise at low speed so as to view the VIP beach of Psarou. We continue our trip towards Ornos Beach and end up at the last southwestern beach of Mykonos, known as Glyfadi. Then we speed up and sail past the famous southern beaches of Mykonos (Paranga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari, Elia, Kalo Livadi, Agia Anna, Kalafatis, Lia and Fragia) and head off towards the uninhabited isle of Dragonisi, reachable only by private yacht.

Dragonisi is a protected nature reserve and a haven for the monachus-monachus seal. There we stop off to enjoy a swim at one of the most unique and beautiful beaches of this isle. Snorkeling gear is provided for those seeking to explore the beautiful underwater beauty.

On our way back we stop at Agrari Beach for more swimming and snorkeling in the blue sea or for water sports for the more athletic ones. Our trip ends at the port of Platis Gialos. One of the major advantages of this itinerary is that it is not affected by weather conditions as the yacht cruises close to the coast.

Delos & Rhenia Islands – South Coast of Mykonos

If you would like to make a trip back to history and Greek mythology, then you should visit the island of Delos, an island which is now deserted.

Delos in ancient Greek language is the opposite of “adelos” (invisible) and means clear, brought to light, obvious, apparent. Greek mythology tells the legend of how the island of Delos appeared suddenly amidst the waves of the sea when Leto was looking for a safe place to give birth to her twins Apollo and Artemis. Starting from Platis Gialos Port, we approach Delos so that you will be able to get a complete view of its monuments and archaeological remains. If you wish, we stop at its picturesque small port and you can visit the archaeological museum and enjoy a trip into the ancient Greek past.

Then we continue our cruise towards Rhenia Island, whose history is closely related to that of Delos Island. There we make a stop for swimming and snorkeling at one of the many beaches of this isle, all of them unique in their beauty. Away from the busy crowds of Mykonos Island, enjoy your privacy at secluded beaches & bays; you will be amazed by the beauty and tranquility.

Our next destination will be one of the most famous and popular beaches of Mykonos (Paradise or Super Paradise or Agrari or Elia); be sure that you will see them all from a totally different perspective. Enjoy your swim or lay back and let yourself be carried away by the summer rhythm. After a day full of excitement and new experiences, we will head back to Platis Gialos Port.

Widely recognized as on the best travel destinations not only in Greece, but in Europe, Mykonos is one of the few places on earth you’ll find college students, Hollywood celebrities, and families all rubbing shoulders in the seemingly endless Greek summer. This incredible island destination is easily reachable via its airport located just a few kilometers from the center of town or by cruise or ferry ship. In the high season, there are direct flights from most major cities in Europe making it an easy addition to your vacation itinerary.

Beaches Galore. In Mykonos, it’s all about the beaches. A truly unique place, Mykonos offers stunning beaches on all sides of the islands. Ella and Super Paradise are a couple of the more popular choices on the South Coast while if you are looking for something a little bit more low-key then head over to the East Coast and enjoy Kalo Livadia and Lia which are quieter and more local style.

Head to Delos. Delos is one of the most famous places of Greek mythology, said to be the birthplace of the gods Artemis and Apollo, and a must-see for anyone headed to Mykonos. This island is technically uninhabited as only archaeologists are allowed to stay overnight there and is packed with treasures from Greece’s long history. While there are a few daily boats over to the island, having your own charter boat gives you the freedom to work within your own schedule. You could even watch the sunset over the ancient monuments, a truly unforgettable sight.

Watersports Adventure.  Mykonos is also known as the “island of the winds” and attracts sailors and surfers from across the world. Its beaches are also home to some of the best windsurfing in the world. And, of course, an island with such an extensive history makes for some great diving. Most locals recommend September as the best month because the water is warm and there is good visibility on the seafloor.

Food, Fun, and Excitement. As a culinary center, there is so much great food to try! You can sample your own fresh catch from your charter boat or have it cooked up local style along with kopanisti, a soft, peppered cheese and the variety of cured meats and local wine for the region. If you are looking for that perfect combination of adventure, culture, food, and excitement than there is no better place for you to go than the island of Mykonos.
