Our 27′ Escapade, with a fast single 220 hp Cummins diesel and a walk- around cuddy cabin with a V-berth and head. The cockpit has a comfortable 10′ beam and the extra large top provides generous shade. The boat is outfitted with a fighting chair, outriggers, depth sounder, GPS and radio. It’s our basic no-frills boat for the angler on a budget, but with the same Penn International and Shimano fishing gear as on our other boats. Capt. Leo Rosales has many years of experience fishing the Tamarindo waters. He’s an excellent captain with limited English skills. Beer, sodas, bottled water, fruit and snacks are provided and on full and 3/4 days lunch is included as well. Half days are 5 hours and fished inshore. We bottom fish and troll, looking for any kind of action: grouper, snapper, jacks, mackerels, amberjack, maybe dorado... keeping everyone busy and catching fish for dinner. Full days are 9 hours, 3/4 days are 7 hours. If you'd like to go offshore and catch sailfish or marlin, we recommend doing a full day or at least a 3/4 day. There is time to make sure you catch your dinner too! 3/4 day price is $860. Fishing licenses not included and are an additional $17pp.
