Bridgetown
Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, is located on the island’s southwest coast. The port city is known for its British colonial architecture from famous sites like the 17th-century garrison to the National Heroes Square. The whole town is built around Carlisle Bay, an enchanting seafront promenade with great shops, restaurants and an expansive stretch of beach.
