Freeward built in 1962, it certainly represents a unique, original and rare product. It was designed and built to accommodate British observers who followed the America's Cup, to accompany the challenging boats from London to the United States. Pure Motorsailer, with a thrust procured by two Gardner '62 with six cylinders in line and 127 horses each, with 5000 liters of water reserve, with a sail rigging made up of two tangobnable flakes, still unmodified. Two years of work were necessary to bring Freeward to its ancient splendor: a double dinette, one internal and one external, protected by a fixed awning, make the boat extremely livable during daylight hours; the sundeck on the deckhouse as well as the enormous deck space allow guests a movement capacity that is difficult to find in a boat of this type.  The three guest cabins, consisting of a suite with a double bed and two bathrooms, with a library and a sofa that can be converted into two huge bunks by bus; two double guest cabins, with separate bathrooms, have been furnished with noble materials found after careful research so as not to betray the style and character of the boat.  Carrara marble and precious fabrics, as well as paintings on the walls have led to an at least exclusive final product while respecting all the standards required by a modern boat that you will undoubtedly appreciate during your holiday.

Giardini Naxos

Giardini Naxos

The picturesque seaside resort of Giardini Naxos, Italy sits perched along the famed Taormina Mountain on Sicily’s east coast. Known for its easygoing charm, this Italian village will delight you with its great weather, scenic vistas and amazing food. From the seaside, you can enjoy the Sicilian Hills and scavenge across the archaeological park in the city. If you are looking for a laid-back vacation experience with just a touch of excitement, then Giardini Naxos is the perfect place for you.

Enjoy the Millennial Old Seafront. Most travelers love the long seaside front that offers you many different opportunities to enjoy the charming beach, admire the great views, dine at a tasty seaside restaurant and even take a trip back to the past and find a few ancient Roman columns. Most likely, you’ll be staying a lido, or seaside resort here. Although you have many options, be sure to check out the amenities and ensure they have a solid beachfront selection. Although there are plenty of beach options around Giardini Naxos, the lidos tend to have the cleanest best stretches for you to kick back and relax on.

Take a Day Trip to Taormina. Taormina is the elegant sister town just shortly down the road. With an elevation change of nearly 1000 feet between the two towns, it’s best to simply take your boat charter between the two of them unless you are looking for a bit of a serious hike (though the height difference doesn’t seem large, the path is quite challenging). Taormina is a great place to dock for a while and enjoy some of its great sights and sounds. It's popular with many tourists for its shopping and craft options.

Experience the Joy of Sicily. The best way to enjoy Sicily is by boat charter. The island isn’t particularly large but is filled with many secret coves, inlets and all kinds of places you’ll want to stop off and enjoy. Not only that, with your own charter you can explore some of the other famous islands in the region like Sardinia and Corsica. We highly recommend a trip to Palermo and Catania which feature great diving and fishing spots along the way. If you head out in late summer, the water is warm, and visibility is at its best! Whatever you choose to do, Giardini Naxos is the best place for you to kick off an unbeatable Italian adventure!
